Hi, I'm Steve Moore.
I've been in ministry since 1983 — serving as a pastor, on church staff, and in leadership roles across different congregations. I know what it's like to sit in a board meeting wondering if the numbers are right. I know the stress of trying to figure out a minister's housing allowance at 11 PM.
That experience is exactly why I started So Much Moore Bookkeeping. Too many churches I encountered were struggling — not because they didn't care about their finances, but because they didn't have the systems, the knowledge, or the time to manage them properly.
I specialize in churches with less than $500,000 in annual donations — typically congregations of 150 to 250 people. These are the churches that often fall through the cracks: too big for a volunteer with a spreadsheet, too small for a full-time CFO.
I use QuickBooks Online and Hubdoc to keep everything organized, and I deliver monthly reports your finance team can actually understand. No jargon, no confusion — just clear numbers and honest conversation.
